Why is a warm blanket important? 

In Afghanistan, (orphaned) children face a harsh winter without sufficient heating, clothing and resources, making them vulnerable to life-threatening diseases. 

Many (orphaned) children also live in damaged houses that offer little protection against the freezing cold, especially at night, putting them at risk of becoming ill and being exposed. 

A blanket in Afghanistan is a life saver, a sign of hope and security.

• The blanket is 200 cm by 150 cm, which is large enough to fold the blanket in half for extra warmth.
