School Supplies Package for a Child

More than half of all Afghans in need of emergency aid are children. Afghan children grow up with the constant threat of violence. There are hardly any institutions for the protection of children. An entire generation of Afghan children and young people - more than 3.5 million - is growing up without education. The majority (75%) are girls. 

Going to school is often difficult for children in Afghanistan. It is precisely in this situation that education is extremely important. It gives children a perspective for the future. Thanks to the teaching materials, children in Afghanistan do not fall behind in their learning and they can be children again with their classmates, for example by playing and coloring.
